It provides nonpartisan information with both general and state-specific information. This site provides information on a variety of elections (municipal, state, national) and has the most current information, including what candidates have to say to the public.
The League of Women Voters of Catawba Valley empowers its members through projects that contribute valuable services to the community, they provide knowledge and experience through the study and discussion of timely and important topics, offer exclusive civic information you can trust, and help members discover new interests, develop new skills and learn about crucial issues in Catawba, Burke, Caldwell, and Alexander Counties. The Southern Coalition for Social Justice is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by a multidisciplinary group, predominantly people of color, who believed that families and communities engaged in social justice struggles need a team of lawyers, social scientists, community organizers, and media specialists to support them in their efforts to dismantle structural racism and oppression.
